Knowing what requirements must be met for compliance testing can be a challenge for internal or external audits. Auditing an organic chemistry procedure to its reference method is only the tip of the iceberg. An audit should also include federal requirements from the federal registers, state specific requirements for documentation and requirements from other laboratory procedures for the processing of data. This presentation will provide a guide for performing a thorough audit for organic chemistry methods.
Presenter: Yumi Creason from Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Laboratory Accreditation Program
Yumi Creason is a laboratory accreditation officer for the Pennsylvania DEP and has been with the program since 2010. She specializes in assessing organic chemistry and has received EPA certification for the assessment of organic and inorganic chemistry in drinking water.
